Hey guys

I have a Biostar TA890FXE (soon to be replaced but the board will be used elswhere) it has always run warmer than i would like, however CPUID is showing temps over the last few days as hovering between 97 and 101 degrees!.
The CPU is running at 45 constant.

All of the fans on my case (4) are running at max RPM as is my CPU cooler to keep air circulated.

Like i say it has always run warm, but im thinking 90+ is a bit OTT, i wonder if the sensor is off, as the air coming out of my case is only luke warm at worst.

Any thoughts.

Look at temps in the BIOS. The readings given by programs in windows are often misleading because each motherboard is different and sometimes completely wrong.

one way to find out for sure would be to put your finger on the board in several places to se how hot it feels. Since 97 - 101 degrees C is hot enough to boil water you will definitely be able to tell whether it's giving you the correct reading or not.
