New graphcs card?

Well right now I have a Nvidia Geforce 280 and that doesnt seem to fly wth todays newer games and even games back from 2007 0_0.

But yeah Ive been looking for a new one. Im not quite...smart with graphics cards and I need some help finding the best one for the money that will last as long as possible running games on max/veryhigh settings on a budget of about 270$ nothing more than 280$. I have a 450w power supply at the moment but I did see some very good graphics cards that require just that so I think it would be better if I didnt have to upgrade that....even though I might have to.





Specs: i5 (dont know model) 4 core running at 3.2 ghz
Nvidia Geforce 280
8 gigs ram
450w psu

You should look the nvidia GTX 470's. It's quite a bit better than the 280.

or for $260 you could always get 2 GTS 450's and run them in SLI. But that's only if you either a) don't game much or b) are really on a budget and even wanna run sli. The 470's are a good card so look around at those.
