Spilled tea on eee pc, turned on side and shock off all excess liquid from the l

Help please. Spilled tea with honey on the laptop. wiped off immediately with dry soft cloth. Then turned laptop to it's side and tried to shake all remaining liquid from laptop. So far it is working properly, what else can I do to insure continued use without complications. Thanks

All traces of the liquid must be completely evaporated, and the computer parts must be dry. Then you will have no problems. Open the laptop, make sure it is OFF, and have a fan blowing air on it overnight just to be sure.

thanks, dried out for 24 houers. all functions working properly now. i don't drink anything near my laptop now. : )
