Ok...just build my first computer. I plugged everything in and turned it on. It powers on for about 15 seconds...then shuts off automatically. If I wait another 10 seconds or so it powers back on. Wierd thing is...my power button turns it on but won't turn it back off. My monitor isnt picking it up either. Does anyone know what could possibly be going wrong? Here is my build.

Intel i7-2600k
Asus P8P67 pro mobo
G-skill 8gb DDR3 RAM
Dual Gigabyte gtx 560 ti SOC edition
HT Omega Claro Halo sound card
LG blu-ray player/burner
Asus DVD player/burner
NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller
Zalman 9900 max heat sink

Thanks. Could really use the help.

It sounds like the Front Panel connector is hooked up incorrectly. Check the manual, and verify that all the cables are in the right slot, make sure the - is in the - slot, and the + is in the + slot. Good luck.

Ok so there is more to this you guys should know. I wasn't as patient as I should have been apparently because the computer actually does work correctly, but there is still this minor annoyance at start up. Again, as I said, I turn it on and 10 seconds later or so it turns back off. Wait another 10-15 seconds and it powers back on and stays on. The computer has no problems whatsoever after this initial restart, but I'd like to know whats going on. Ideas??
