Hello, I bought a new laptop on 26th dec 2011 and now the whole hardware and the mother board is defective i called several times to exchange my laptop they said they don't have a policy to exchange but replace the mother board as now i came to know that the board is not available so when i called them they said they cannot replace it could you help me with a suggestion. The best thing for you to do would be to call HP's customer service department again and inquire with them about your options. If you have a waranty, i do not see why they would not replace the laptop unless there are extenuating circumstances.
