Choppy lines on fast motion

Hi all,

I have my PC hooked up to my 5 year old Samsung DLP via HDMI. The problem I have is that when streaming content from the web, fast motion, such as watching a live game, causes horizontal lines to show up. It only happens when viewing content from the Web, when viewing local media, there are no issues.

The PC i have is MB GIGABYTE|GA-MA785GM-US2H RT and has a built in Radeon HD card.

Is my issue caused by the fact that I have an old TV that can't handle the refresh rate? Any thing I can do to fix the issue?

Thanks in advance!

If you have the latest Catalyst control center go into it, go to the gaming tab and under that click 3d application settings.... scroll down a bit and turn the vertical sync option from off to always on

if that doesnt work try going to the desktop management and go to advanced display settings and fiddle with the refresh rates there.

EDIT: Forgot to say that you should update to the newest ati dispaly drivers if you havent already
