<quote>
If you have 1 or more public space ports on a base there is a 3% chance
that a group of 10,000 or more new colonists will arrive at your base.
Insectoid natives will never arrive at a base that is owned by the
Enforcers.

Is this supposed to be "...a group of 10,000 or more new NATIVES will
arrive..."?

The second sentence doesn't make sense without the change.

No, as I beleive, there was quite a discussion on this a while back.
You get free cols, which, I think, works even with the S-Pulse active,
but, don't quote me, cause I won't bet the farm on it.

From Tim's pages

The public space port can attract new colonists to your planet at a rate
of 1 new colonist per public space port times the number of thousand of
colonists living on the base. If you have 1,000,000 colonists on a base
and 1000 public space ports you could attract between 0 and 1,000,000
new colonists to your base in a single turn. You will never have more
than 1,000,000 new colonists attracted to you base in a single turn.

If you have 1 or more public space ports on a base there is a 3% chance
that a group of 10,000 or more new colonists will arrive at your base.
Insectoid natives will never arrive at a base that is owned by the
Enforcers.

Given the first paragraph the second only makes sense if he means
natives. Also I believe that the colonist attraction no longer works
with the pulse on, from discussion and direct experience [40Mill cols,
500PSP, no new cols - and that was on several worlds].

The Recruiting Center and Clone Lab do work with the pulse on (as of 193
anyway) so if the Peeps put the pulse on you know why.

Just found this on Tim's pages, haven't tested it :-

Resort

Tech Level: 5

Cost: 1000mc + 500 Supply Units

Maintenance: 10 Food + 2 Supply Units

Special Limit: Only some races can build these

Limit Per Planet: 1 Per Race

Attracts natives.

>> Can generate 0 to 6 colonists per resort per turn per 1000 colonists
on the base.
It will do this even when the Shokazul Pulse is active. <<

Increases colonist happiness by up to 30 points a turn.

Yes it is a typo. Anyone paying attention to base logs will eventually
see new groups of natives arriving from time to time, although I don't
think its actually 10k or more... usually a few thousand...
