[#0005ff]Something isn't quite right here. A MODEM makes the connection with the Internet so if it isn't working, you can't get online. A router spreads that connection around your own network, either by wire or wirelessly so your network will work even if you can't get all the way to the Net. Some routers have MODEMs built in - what is the make and model of yours?[/#000ff]
