Confused about VRAM being listed for my card!

Im running a Palit Gtx 560 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...01&cm_re=Palit_gtx_560-_-14-261-101-_-Product video card and DXdiag and System Requirements Lab both show it as having 2775megabytes of VRAM. The card is only supposed to have 1024. I Think i may be missing something.

Im just trying to find out where the difference comes in from the stock vram and the extra becuase GPU-Z shows 1024. Sorry if this is something pretty basic, just trying to learn a bit
