How to start wify on hcl laptop with windows 8

Hello, i can't use wi-fi on my hcl laptop after installing windows 8 so please help

1.) Whats HCL laptop?
2.) do you have the drivers installed and the WIFI NIC Enabled?
3.) is your ssd Broadcasting or do you have to specify your network?
4.) do you remember your WIFI Key code?
