My old motherboard (Dell) died so now I have to continue my new planned build much earlier.

I was planning on building a new game/photo processing pc anyway so I have the following components to go towards the new one.

NEW:
Case: Antec 300 (Currently with 3 fans)

PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO550W

CPU Cooling: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus

Video Card: SAPPHIRE 100314-3L Radeon HD 6870 1GB

Memory: DDR3 - 8 Gig (4 dimms), 1333 mhz, PC3-10600U (use from old system)

Hard drives: 1TB WD Blue, 7200 rpm - 500GB WD Blue, 7200 rpm (From old system)

CD Rom: HP Lightscribe DVDRW (from old system)

I NEED:
Processor: Inel I5-2500k, socket 1155

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 (I've been eyeing this one for a while). Nice that it's foward compatible to Ivy Bridge.

Windows 7 home 64 bit OEM

I don't normally overclock but do want the option to allow it. Also want the option to possibly run CrossFireX later on.

Do you see anything wrong with my selections so far?
Money is a little tight but it looks like I have to go ahead anyway.

I just want to check with you folks first before making any additional purchases.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

Good suggestion and $50 less too.

Why do new motherboards still come with legacy PS2 ports?

I thought PS2 went out years ago.

Thanks for your suggestion! I'll probably go with it.

check the capacitors on the motherboard, they are usually the first to go, google capacitors.
