Ok I am in need of a new pc. I been out the loop for a couple years on what is what. My current build is intel based.
CPU: E6750 Dual Core
Mobo: Gigabyte P35-DS3p
RAM: 2gb Gskill DDR2 800
Vid: EVGA 8800GT SC
So that gives some indication of how long its been. With this in mind, seeing how I went intel based, I was going to do the same for my new build.
CPU: Core i5 2400 LGA 1155 Boxed Processor $158
Mobo: ASRock p67 PRO3(B3) $129
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB $70
Vid: Will upgrade later, will use 8800gt sc for time being.
I added current price as that is a factor too. My total for the above would come to $357. I feel it's a pretty good price but I would like to see if anyone could help me with an equivalent AMD build ( CPU + Mobo ) in terms of price & features.
