Hello, I have tried to upgrade from 4gb (2x2GB) of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHz to 4 more GB of the same RAM. When I start up the computer with my old ram and with the new ram (In total 8gb) I get no signal to my monitor. I have tried the new ram alone and those 2 won't work either. Also, I have noticed that the new ram and the old ram have different versions, the old ram is version 2.03 and the new one is 2.13. So here's my computer setup:

OS: Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 945 3GHz / 8MB / Socket AM3

Mobo: Asus - Socket AM3 - ATX AMD 785G (M4A785TD-V EVO) - DDR3 / VGA / SATA

Graphics card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 260 OC 896MB (GV-N26OC-896I) - PCI-E / DVI

I would appreciate any answer a lot but please try to figure out what the problem is!

Typically, at DDR3-1333 it doesn't make a difference unless the versions have different voltages or CAS timings.

Please provide the following:
1. Link to old RAM
2. Link to new RAM
3. BIOS version

For now with all (4) sticks installed (try):
1. Install:
CPU: | OLD | OLD | NEW | NEW |
2. Clear CMOS, doing it properly requires you to unplug the PC for 5~10 minutes for the PSU to discharge and then using the Jumper method see -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdHH9KrceR0
3. Boot into BIOS:
(F5)/Load Optimized Defaults
DRAM Voltage -> 1.55v
Save & Exit = Yes.
