Hello, Im comparing computers and is an HP AMD Phenom II 1045, 6 core, 8GB ram, DDR3, a video card of 2.0 GHz, and 1TB of ram, is that good for working for 3d animation?
Also, I can't decide which video card is better, ATI or Nvidia brand? Please and thank you.

The cpu u selected is good for animation but 1055t or 1095t will be much better . Nvidia is good for animation purpose but it will cost u little more compared to ati while comparing configurations.

something like a Firepro or Quadro if u're not into gaming,

and what software are u going to use anyway?
some prefer a different graphics vendor over another

Hi! Thank you for replying and for information.

No, I am not using a new computer for online gaming but mainly for 3d animation softwares such as 3dsmax, maya, zbrush , 2d, and other multimedia softwares like photoshop etc.

oh I see.
