My $1300 Gaming PC - Critique, please

Hey all, this is my first post here, and I'd like to share my 2nd PC I'll be building... My first was a wonderful success and made me very happy when I first started it up. Unfortunately it was savagely murdered by the iconoclasts at UPS... all that is left is my 22' 16:10 monitor and an old gaming mouse that I just can't part with.

My intentions with this system are: Gaming! I have this laptop for other PC uses. I need to be able to up the settings on Shogun 2 and Dragon Age 2. Once they are available, I plan to play the following titles: Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, and TES5: Skyrim.

The ideal concept here is to allow room for growth later on in terms of overclocking and perhaps replacing equipment if necessary at a later date. I want a solid long-term $/performance ratio... or at least as much as I can get. I don't mind upping the cost if it is a justified expense.
