Cat 11.1 install shows Software Ver. 10.5

I decided to update the drivers for my HD4890 for the first time since May of last year, at which time I updated to 10.5 and added it's associated Hotfix. I went through the usual steps, using the ATI Catalyst Install Manager for removal. Once it was done, I reboot the PC and used Ccleaner to for both a cleanup and registry sweep. No ATI/AMD issues were found that wasn't extension-related. (The file extension being .hotfix-Cat-10.5 or something similar).

So since I was aware CCC had changed it's UI, I opened CCC and looked it over. Nothing major, just a new layout with buttons instead of drop-downs. But when I clicked the Information button and then Software, I saw the following:

Driver Packaging Version 8.812-110104a-111988C-ATI
Catalyst Version 10.5
Provider ATI Technologies Inc.
2D Driver Version 8.01.01.1114
2D Driver File Path /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/CLASS/{4D36E968-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}/0001
Direct3D Version 7.14.10.0806
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.10428
Catalyst Control Center Version 2011.0104.2155.39304

Catalyst Version 10.5 again...

Any input or suggestions are welcome. I'm thinking I'll just uninstall and try again, perhaps hitting up Guru3d for the latest driver sweeper or similar program.

Thanks.

Interesting...

I did as I said and got Guru3d's Driver Sweeper.
Ran Catalyst Install Manager
Removed Display Driver, CCC, HDMI Audio drivers
Reboot into Safe Mode
Ran Driver Sweeper
Analyzed ATI
Cleaned ATI
Reboot PC
Installed Catalyst 11.1 again
Reboot
Still says the same dang thing...

LOL

LOL apparently.

It's gotta be a bug in the new Catalyst Control Center 2 or something...

I'd hit up AMD's forums and send Catalyst Crew feedback about this, but it's probably just some dumb error that won't be fixed for another Catalyst revision or two.

Anyone else seeing the exact same thing? Your previous version number being displayed in the Information/Software section?

They forgot to give this one a number I think, so the previous shows up. Sometimes happens with the beta drivers. But yes, same issue here.

I do. Mine reads 10.8. My previous CCC was 10.12, not 10.8, though.
