GA-P55M-UD4 - slow wakeup after standby

I've had this system for a while now, but decided to ask for help now
My setup:
Motheboard: GA-P55M-UD4
Processor: Intel Xeon X3440
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
HD: Intel SSD (320 series) 120GB
Memory: 8GB (all 4 slots taken)

This is what happens (since day one): after i place the computer to standby mode, when I wake it up, it takes up to 30 seconds for it to wake up. There are NO other issues, computer boots up fast, is fast and stable.

Any ideas what might be causing such a delay?
Thanks!

Update your bios and driver for the first check ~

That's probably a good idea, but i don't have any other ones. Maybe I'll try this when I am going to build a new system. Thanks!
