Mother board replacement

i want to replace the mother board processor and heat sink in my AMD DV7 machine with an Intel based system. Any information to help me will be very much appreciated

Does it work now? I only see a laptop version of the DV7. If that's the case, you can't change to an Intel setup. Your original amd board was designed for the case; the boards are almost $300 new. I would sell your old system if you're unhappy with it, or use the same board if the original is broken.
