Hello,
I REALLY need your help. i went and got a new graphics card today (ATI RADEON 6870) so i can replace my GeForce 9400. At first, everything went fine when i switched the cards. I installed the drivers off the CD and had to reboot.
After i rebooted, my pc would start up until the "Starting Windows" screen and then would completely shut off.
After a few hours, i ended up switching back to my 9400, and deleted all the drivers i had. then i turned the computer off.
I put in my 6870 and ran in safe mode, and then went to the AMD website and downloaded new drivers from there.
after the reboot, i ended up going past the "Starting Windows" screen and actually started windows up normally and not in safe mode.
After a minute or two, it crashed again.
Im so tired of trying to fix this, so is my PSU the problem?
Specs:
Intel Core duo @ 2.66 GHz
Radeon 6870
4 GB of Ram
and my PSU is 500 watts.
PLEASE help.
thanks
