Hi im new to this site and dont even know if this is the right place to post this...if it is please let me know so i can move it somewhere else..
Anywaysss.....

I was wondering if i can run Starcraft 2 on high with my computer specs:::::

CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60Ghz
RAM: 2gb DDR3
PSU: 400watts
OS: Windows 7 64-bit

And im going to purchase the EVGA GeForce GT240 1024MB GDDR5 PCIe 2.0 x16 Video Card

So will all that allow me to play Starcraft 2 on high?

If there is anything else you have to know please tell me

Thanks!!

The game should run fine with those system specs, but not sure on high details as your computer is on the verge of the recommended requirements, but you will definitely be able to play the game, which is a good thing.

It depends on your resolution. At 1920x1200 it would probably only be possible on low settings, but you can certainly run the game.

I have played on my old system which is a similar processor but weaker GPU (Core 2 Duo E6400/ 8800GT) but I run it on 1440x900 and only on medium, settings. Keep in mind your SC2 is processor heavy, it will be bottlenecked by your CPU long before the video card.

I tried on a q6600 (stock) with 3 gb ram, win vista, and a Geforce 8600GS, wasn't playable (not really). hence i've just ordered an EVGA GTX 580 and 950W Corsair PSU and win 7 pro. (running on a 1920x1080 res monitor too)

hope this helps.

LOL 1024 x 768 with auto med/low settings for most things. X4 955 @ 3.7 with...here is the fun part ATI 4350 passive from asus.

I can not even play left 4 dead on that card. Shocked the crap out of me.

Not saying to go so low end, but it made me wonder. For 1920 x 1200 i would say at lease a 5770. As with less it can get bad with lots of stuff happening.
