When you switch on a PC the first thing that happens is the BIOS self-test. This can take a while.

I would suggest that you check the settings in the BIOS to see whether "Quick self-test" is switched on or off - if it is off, you might accelerate the start up by switching it on.

Some BIOSes have the ability to display messages during the start up. You might see a message during the start up that explains the delay - perhaps it is waiting to time out a device. If that's the case, maybe you can disable the device that's timing out, and thus eliminate the delay.

Wow this is ridiculously unclear.

- Does your monitor actually show anything?? only minutes later???

- what about windows sound, does it play bootup windows sound??

- does the BIOS even beeps when you power on your computer and how many short and long beeps do you hear (if any) ??

- Did your computer worked before??

- Installed anything new in it??

This sounds like a PSU problem if I am understanding your problem correctly, substitution of the power supply is the only reliable test.

Check your temps with HWMonitor, Core Temp or RealTemp. SpeedFan seems to be wrong more...
