I will upgrade my P4 now :eek: , will this be ok for gaming?

CPU: Intel Core i5 2400 3.1GHz
Mobo: Asrock H67M B3
Memory: G.Skill RipJaws 4gb ddr3-1333
Storage: WESTERN 500GB 7200 SATA3 Blue
PSU: HEC Rapter II 500watts
Casing: Thermaltake Dokker

Need to save more for 5770 for about 3-4months. I will not OC thats why I choose H67 and I5 2400. Is 5770 good enough my budget for VGA will be less than $150 any suggestion than 5770 and the items that i mentioned? Thanks

Change that power supply. You do not want to go cheap on a PSU. Go with Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling, XFX, Antec, Enermax or Silverstone for top quality.

Sandy Bridge likes DDR3 1600 cas 8 or 9 best. Should be about $5 more dollars and worth it.

For 1440 x 900 that is a great gaming machine. But with a $150 video card budget I would get this. Might as well futureprooof.

Thank You for all your reply :D I'll check my budget if I can buy other PSU brand (depending on price here), and that 6850.

@Yummerzz
I tried checking the price here in PH building a phenom II x4 965 but I think only 1.5-2.5k difference in price(or im just not too good selecting items x.x), thats why I'm aiming now for Intel.

I think you are going find that the Intel® Core™ I5 2400 with the HD 2000 graphics will be a great processor for you it should allow you to run must games with solid performance until you can add in a dedicated video card later on. While you can use DDR 3 1066/1333 if there is only a $5 dollar difference between them and DDR 3 1600 then go with the 1600 for possible future upgrades. Overall it should end up being a nice system.
