hey whyme...thanks for the setup..i do have original windows 7 pro already so wouldnt need that either..the main problem that i was having is that the system would be spiking... and when i first boot to install windows it took me like an hour or so.... not sure if its due to drivers or what...like i would get into setup and still would be lagging to start it.. i think it might have been the dvd rom was causing it or is it like that the first time you ever try to put a new OS on the system??

any other suggestions i would love to hear them.. btw the tower and gpu are cheaper at frys if anyone else wants to do this and has a frys around..also if i was to add 12 or 16 gb ram...would it still work?? on my build i put 12gigs and it wasnt recognizing the clock speed..i put it in manually and it would keep rebooting.. i changed it to 16gb kingston and it worked just fine after i put in manual clock speed.
