I have an ATI Radeon HD 5750 dual dvi graphics card. When I first installed it, it worked great! Now about 2 minutes after Windows loads up my screen goes pink or purple or whatever. So now the only way I can use my computer is with the card out of it! Anybody have a solution or comments?? Thanks anything would help greatly!!!!!!!!

I had a 5770 for 3 years and during the entire time it would crash in 2D. In games it was rock solid. The reason it's crashing is because the GPU is in low power mode at 157mhz which is too low. Newer Radeon cards all run at 300mhz and so far I haven't had a single 2D crash.

There is a fix that involves messing with the power profiles, however it will increase power consumption by a massive amount in idle mode and increase temps/noise levels as well.

It's a pretty widespread problem with the 5 series.
