Turn computer on, does not boot, just gives this high pitch noise that goes awhi

Was working, then all of sudden went black and giving high pitch sound that stops for a second, starts again, stops again, etc as long as it is turned on.
Don't know if motherboard prob or power supply.

Kept getting "CPU high usage" messages too.

  1. Recheck every single connection in your build
  2. Also check your CPU Heatsink to make sure its seated correctly. You might of hit the Heatsink off the CPU a bit and getting a CPU high usage error Post
  3. Reseat EVERYTHING, it's probably something like your RAM isn't plugged in all the way. Either that, or the guy above me is right and your heatsink/fan isn't doing its job.
