aaahhh! finally got to get my ICS to work! and using my old HUB.

(but wait, just to be sure I understand ICS --> I have a host pc with 2 NICS -- this pc is connected directly to the DSL modem. The other NIC is for the client pc)

my question is... what if there is no one is using the host pc to surf the net? Does this mean the client pc gets to enjoy all the bandwidth?

Or is there a strict halving of the bandwidth, like the maximum bandwidth per pc in a 2-pc network is 50% ??

one connection will use all the potential that the connection allows. if there are two connections it will just interleave them, half for 2, 3rd for 3. and by connection i mean actively downloading somthing, not idle

this is my boomstick!
