Hardware Detection During Installation

I am trying to install Windows 2000 Professional on my computer. I now have a problem, each time the setup enters the stage where they try to detect devices and install their drivers, I get a bluescreen halfway through for quite some time after my screen flickers, stating that there is a hardware malfunction, system halted. I'm stuck. Despite trying to reboot to go through the setup again, the same thing happens. I'm stagnant now and I can't do anything with my computer. HELP ME!!!

I have sort of the same problem, but instead of mine freezing my computer will keep rebooting at the same exact point. Any idea?
