Don't know if this is the proper forum to ask, but I'm looking for a free first person shooter type game (single player, not online or multiplayer) to test out my new system. I'm not a gamer, but sometimes I like to play for a few minutes or so (maybe once every 2 years :lol: ).
I'd also like to know if it's possible to check temps (Realtemp, hwmonitor, etc) while in a game and how to go about it.
My system that I just built (runs very fast compared to my Pentium D 2.66 Xp sp3 machine):
ASUS P8P67 mobo (vanilla)
8 gigs of Gskill Ripjaw (2 x 4g)
PNY (Nvidia) 512mb (ddr2) 9600 GT vid card (from my old Xp system)
500 gb WD HDD 7200 RPM sata 3g
Antec Earthwatts 500 watt PSU
ANTEC "Illusion" case
