Internet is really slow yet they say theres nothing wrong

First if your internet is dsl not cable:
-you have to be sure that all your telephon have filter other wise it cut so offen
-you have to check if you have a good rj45 patch cord cable( do not use a rj45 cable made by hand
-you have to delete manually all the temp file in the temp folder in the local setting .

if you internet by cable:
-try to verify the coaxial cable or to change the connector
Dont forget that the cable modem have to be unpluged 2 time monthly to empty the static charge
What kind of modem are you using ? what kind of router are you using?
is your modem a cable modem or dsl modem ??
