Hey guys,

Basically, in about 3-4 months, I'm going to buy, what I like to think,is the beast.

With my previous build, I had my pc running on air cooling, and that tended to heat up my room quite a bit, and was really quite noisy.

So what I'm aiming to do here, is have a really cool running PC, which isn't noisy and doesn't make my room too hot.

I want to be able to water cool my i7 990x and my 2 GTX 590's in SLI.

So heres what I'm looking at at the moment.

Basically, I want to try and keep it close to $6000 altogethor.

My case will be a Coolermaster HAF-X, my MB will be an ASUS Rampage III Extreme, my PSU will be Enermax 1250W.

Any extra info required, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm really not a fullbottle on Water Cooling, as this is my first time, but I would really like a top of the line Water Cooler that can cool my i7 and 2 GPU's

Thanks.

It doesnt matter how you cool your system, your room will get heated up pretty good, all of the power your system uses gets turned into heat which has to be dealt with, a water cooling loop just moves the heat from inside the case to outside quicker, but the total amount of heat is the same, and depending on your radiator and pump setup it may not be any quieter, if you have a 3x120mm rad thats still 3 120mm fans, doesnt matter if they are case fans, mounted on the heatsink, or mounted on a rad, they will make about the same amount of noise.

With two GTX 590s in SLI you will likely need at least two large rads, thats a lot of heat to deal with, as you will have almost 1000W of heat dumping into the cooling system when at full load, its going to cost you probably an additional 1k to do a full loop, it would definitely be a lot cheaper to keep it air cooled, but then again, that system isnt very economically smart or logical to begin with.

Dear Jesus, an additional $1,000, really?

I don't see why so much heat would be generated..

Well anyways..
Please give me some options, prices and ratings and such.

Thanks

Each GTX 590 pulls in excess of 300 Watts at full load, so thats 600W for the GPUs alone, the 990X is rated at 130W at stock, if you OC it you could hit up to 200W, add in the power for the additional components in the system and the inefficiencies of the PSU and you will pull over 1kW from the wall at full load.

GTX 590 Water block $123 x2 due to SLI = $246

It will cost you about $80 for the CPU block

It will cost between $80 and $200 per rad depending on the size and quality of the radiator. Liquid cooling setups arent cheap.

Ok, Heres what I got lined up, please tell me if it sufficient, and I am most probably missing parts, so please help.

The radiator, I hope this is enough for all of it, the CPU and GPU's

Not sure which is best coolant, but here is some here.

Now for the radiator fan, I'm not too sure what to use, I was going to do RED LED fans but I think I'll go with

3 of them
That should lower the noise significantly, I hope....

The GTX 590 waterblocks.

2 of them

I'm not sure if I need any elbow barbs or anything

The tubing

Is there anything else I need, a reservoir or anything?

Thanks so much for your help man, I appreciate it

Ok, I really need help please. I don't want low quality stuff, but I don't want to pay a massive amount.

Please help!!!

I would really love to just have 1 radiator as I would have things just hanging off my PC otherwise

Thanks!!1

The best help would be for you to start helping yourself by doing some research, start in the Watercooling section of the forum.
1 radiator won't be enough , unless it's one of the extra large models that wouldn't fit in your case ;
