HELL YES HOLY *%#W%. That's a very good deal, do not pass that up. Please do not pass that up or i will feel bad. Sorry i lost a little composure, but steal that deal.
GTS 250: $150
XFX 680i:$250
PSU: I'm not sure probably at least $90
CPU (Q6600): $130 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (easily overclocked to much higherspeeds, very good cpu)
Ram: idk $50 at least.
Plus all the other stuff. You're getting a 50% deal (at the very lest). (Plus that setup can be upgraded easily)

Ok awesome! Thanks! I bought it! :) working out the details now. He might lower the price and throw in some more stuff! BTW how does this system compare to the iCore systems? Especially with the new Sandy Bridge series?

Hmm about 15-20frame difference during games when comparing the 6600 to the i-series. Sounds like a lot better, but for 350 that system will keep your very happy :p That cpu won't bottleneck your GPU anyway, so don't worry about your cpu :p

GTS actually on sale on new egg for $65 after MIR, but even without that it is ~$100 and it's an old card. Q6600 is not a very good CPU unless lots of OC why buy a heavily OC'd CPU? Q6600 is like Rana 450 or X2 550 levels, its worth around $90 today.

The really good parts are the Case ($130) and the PSU ($80-90)

Are you getting Windows 7 with that? If so that is another $100 value and I'd buy it. If you are not getting an OS or are getting Vista with it I'd pass and get another $150 and buy a brand new computer that would blow that one away. He's giving you a decent deal but I'm not a fan of buying used overclocked parts that are all 2-3 years old with no guarantees. Maybe offer him $100 for the case + psu or low ball him at $275 for the whole thing :)

Thanks... I'm thinking about upgrading the graphics card to GTX 460... been seeing it for 100 After Rebate ... Will that CPU bottleneck it?

Yes I will be getting Windows 7... but not buying it if you know what I mean :p - I heard Q6600 can be OC'd to 4.0Ghz or even better?

Here are the links to the parts:

Yes they can definitely be oc'd to 4ghz :p By not buying it...do you mean you're not buying the rig? Or not buying what he said?

Neither. I will not be buying W7. I will get it another way :p

anywaysssss so this is a 100% definite buy for the rig? How long will it last? Honestly I was gonna blow 1700 on an i7 Sandy Bridge build but I guess this will take me off the edge? O.O

Ohh you were talking about windows 7. Anyway, well everything in that setup is GREAT to begin with. 100% buy it. Once you receive it you can start upgrading gradually, which is really fun :p The case and psu alone are great to start off with (and great for upgrade), and you have a good motherboard/cpu/gpu to start you off :p It's not top rig, but it's a good place to start. I started off with a dual 2.3 and a crappy unoverclockable motherboard, a 300w PSU, a mini atx case and a 7600 geforce. NOW i have a Phenom II quad 3.6ghz with an amazing motherboard, a 600w cooler master, a gtx 570 and it's all STILL INSIDE THE MINI ATX CASE. hahahahaha So i gradually upgraded things :p It made the boost in performance with every upgrade all the more enjoyable :p
PS: That specific PSU has SLI support if you ever want to upgrade the motheboard for sli.

Haha you are so funny <3 - Yes I plan to keep the Case and PSU if I do decide to go with i7 Sandy Bridge!

Hmm How does this compare with sandy bridge processors? Id say the sandy bridge is a whole different world compared to this processor. I had the Q6600 before I bought the i7 2600k. The Q6600 is not able to be OC'd, it might be the specific version I had, not sure but I know 100% that it wasn't able to be overclocked(not because of my motherboard). Also the Q6600 SUCKS for gaming. I had a Core 2 Duo e6600 and I thought the Q6600 would be an upgrade (kept the same video cards), and it wasn't, I got less frames and more problems with it. I'm sorry if this disappoints you but this is what I experienced with that processor.
