Is this best for gaming without a overclock

intel i5 - 2500,MSI H67MA-E35,transcend 4gb 1333mhz ddr3 ram,1gb ati 6770,mercury 450 watts power supply,lg dvd writer ,500 gb seagate hard disk and a good looking budget cabinet.. im using h67 chipset because i will not overclock any of the parts in my cpu and ACER 20" HS201HL - LED ..is this good for gaming at 1920x1080 res will this graph card is good at his res..

You have alot of CPU power and not alot of GPU for gaming, I suggest you get the i3 2100 and a 6870.

i3 2100 is more than enough for gaming unless you are running 2 high end graphics cards. Remember the GPU is more important than the CPU when it comes to gaming. The 5770/6770 (they are the same card) is good for medium-high settings at 1080 while the 6870 is good for high-ultra and the 2100 will not limit either of them.

I agree with the 6870 suggestion, it's probably twice as fast as the 6770 for 1/3 more money. The 6770 can handle some games at 1680/1050 but full HD and upcoming new games will bring it to it's knees.

i agree also. better to get a stronger vid card. an i3 2100 is pretty fast for games, faster than quad core amd cpu's.
