GTX 460 SE 1g Low Memory error, plz help.

I just recently bought an EVGA GTX 460 SE 1g card, which was replacing my old 9800 GX2 1g (also from EVGA).

I can play games with beautiful frames and graphics with EVERYTHING maxed out for about a maximum of about 10-30 mins then windows gives me an error stating it's experiencing low memory and to alleviate it's shutting the program down.

I ran OCCT for memory on the 460 and here's the results (not good)

I put my 9800GX2 in to test it's memory and make sure it wasn't OCCT or something else in my system giving me faulty tests, and the 9800GX2 tested clean no errors for 20 passes.

Any thoughts? I think the card might just be bad.

Thanks for your time! It's greatly appreciated. :hello:

  1. Problem solved! since the card was only a few days old I brought it back to the store and showed them the OCCT errors it had on the memory. They had eyes as big as basket balls at what they saw.

They offered giving me a regular EVGA GTX 460 1g at no cost. <3 Comp USA
