New motherboard no serial

Hello,
Motherboard went bad on my HP DV7t-2000. I purchased a new one from a 3rd party. Everything works fine, but when booting and in bios, there is no serial number. Is there a way for me to add the serial number to the bios?

Why would you want to do that ? It works fine, right ?

btw, I have no idea how to do that but I know there is a way of changing the logo though. Or you can switch the bios chips if they are identical and see if that works.

Correct. The only reason would be asthetics. I just didn't want to have the "no serial number found" showing on boot. I wanted my repair/replacement to be as professional as possible.
