Acer aspire zg5 canot connect to bt home hub

Hello,i have jsut bought a acer aspire one zg5 its running on limpus linux lite, i have a bt home hub but can not get the wirelss to work on this. i have called bt and they cant help me. .....please help my son is going mad

is the wireless enabled on the hub and on the Acer?
