Hello my name is Flavio Lopes, long time reader , first time talker. I'm sorry if this is a double post or theres allready another post about this. and excuse my about my english too*.

So About the AMD 6750 , From the leaked info the 6750 is very close to a AMD 5850, and I am looking for this to replace my current graphics card AMD 5670 1GB GDDR5.

My Current specs:

AMD ATHLON X4 640
4GB RAM DDR3 1333
256 HDD
LC POWER 600W
Cooler Master Elite 430
1600X900 | 1980X1080p
Motherboard ASUS M4N68T-M V2

So one of my many questions is.

I will this card fit on my system , wont be any bottleneck? ( I cant Overclock the CPU)

I will this card be good enough for playing Crysis 2 . BattleField 3. Dirt 3 Black Ops.
(ATM I'm pretty happy with my 5670 ( Past card ati 4550 ( and past from past 7300 LE) ) I Can play Dirt 2 with 80 FPS at 1600x900 Black ops | modern warfare 2 & 1 | 120 FPS. How?( Overclock'd | Shadow's ALLWAYS OFF | CCC in Performance| NO AA or AF | The rest max out'd)BF (60 Fps shadows low | rest high and no AA or AF or HABO ) Crysis Warhead at 35 FPS Gamer Settings Shadow low.

So I will keep those settings above No shadow's no AA and no AF.

Will the 6750 Meet those requirements for the gaming generation and I dont plain to upgrade graphics in 2 years.
After the AM3 + Bulldozer I will try to get a phenon x6 ( Hope the prices drop)

So Reviewing

ATHLON X4 + 6750 = Good Set?
Playable on Dirt 3 , Crysis 2 ( Gamer Settings | shadow's off) , BF 3 and other DirectX 11 games. with the same settings no shadows AA or AF. CCC = performance.
What would be the Price of 6750 = 150 Euros?( Since the 6850 is 190 euros and 6770 would be atleast 170 euros).
When does the AMD 6750 Will be stores?

AFAIK the one that close to 5850 is 6850. well i suppose the card should be called as 6750 but AMD changing their naming scheme starting from 6k series. i heard that 6700 will be renamed from 5700 plus minor improvement and only available for OEM

Ur guys are wrong the rebranding will only happen to the OEM Pc's.

the 6850 replaces the 5850 but its way faster than a 5870 While the 6750 replaces the 5750 being fast than the 5830 allmost like a 5850

The HD 6850 is about as fast as the HD 5830 (when overclocked, its way faster) and the 6870 is faster then the 5850, how the heck did you come to that conclusion above?

the 5830 was a huge failure in the 5 series and by no means is it supposed to compete the the 6870

the 6950/70 are the new high end cards, correct, but the 6870 is not far behind the 5870, and beats the 5850 at stock, really the performance increase from a 6870 to a 6950 is not worth 80 dollars imo... at least not for 1920X1080 right now

Right here goes.
The 6750 is a slightly tweaked 5750 it has added support for some Audio/Video standards, apart from that its basically a straight rebrand.

Performance wise its going to be approx 30-40% faster than the 5670. I don't really like using percentages as they can be a bit vague but for expediency it will have to do.

Barts (6850/6870) was and does not need to be pigeon holed to fit in with peoples expectations as a replacement to anything.
The card was designed on a 32nm process and that was canned so its basically the best AMD could manage on a short notice respin of what they wanted to do @ 32nm but using a 40nm process.

it means that if u buy a hole pc with a 6750 it has the power of the 5750 if u buy the card in a shop it has his real power

Ok so you posted for help and you need it as you clearly have no idea of where cards fit in performance wise as your post shows.

I posted the facts of what the performance levels actually are and what to expect performance wise from such a card, as well as some info on why you cant think of the 68xx cards as a replacement for anything.

Seems you know better so you can get on with it.

yeah it is, I was just arguing that the 6870 wasn't a replacement for a 5830 when in fact the 6850 is actually a bit faster than it (the 5830)
