What does the cable come from and what is the marking on the MB header?

It doesn't plug into anything. There's no place for it to go. It comes from the motherboard. I was looking at my old PC and taking it apart and putting it back together for the fun of it and I realized that never once has that cable been plugged into anything, but it came plugged into the motherboard. It's an HP computer from around 2008. And there is no marking on the motherboard for it. Just anything in that photo is all I can give. Was just wondering if someone would recognize it.
