Logon screen and Boot screen

I own Windows 7 Enterprise N, and was wondering, is there any way to change the defaut log on and boot up screen? Everything from when it boots from off to on basically? I have seen stuff on wincustomize.com but the boot screen software is not supported by windows 7 and I'm not sure if the logon screen software is free or buggy even. Any advice or help? I'm new to coding and registry work, I have the pictures I want, ...so yeah. Help?
