build looks great!

according to tomshardware, while the 560ti and 6950 are at each others heels at 1080p, at higher resolutions, like the 3 monitor setup you would like, the 6950 crossfire will outperform. In fact, at high resolutions, the 6950 crossfire even outperforms the gtx570 sli:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crossfire-sli-3-way-scaling,2865-9.html

but im guessing you will be happy either way. im envious.

edit: id go with the PSU specter linked, it is better and (with the promo code) cheaper. i dont like his other choices.

Looks good, I would say that you want to focus on the Intel® Core™ I5 2500K for gaming. Also if in the near future you can find the money to cover an SSD as a boot drive you are going to want to. I have an Intel SSD X25-M 80GB and it gives me a boot time of around 20 second and faster access times on anything loaded on it. Take a look at the newer Intel SSD 320 80GB.

why_me, how do you find those combos so fast. i looked for that gpu+cpu combo and could find it (although i still recommend 6950). also the seasonic x750+ samsung spinpoint is still cheaper than the psu+hdd combo and you get a better psu.

This is just what I built. I'm not gaming-centric, I need the computer to run multiple VMs as well so that explains the CPU. I also dont really want a full-size tower and the HAF 912 has pretty good airflow. The 480 will eventually be 480 SLI or a 590. I chose most of those options in order to have a damn stable build for the next few years.

edit: that being said, I'm open to suggestions and wonder what you would change about my build

I just saw that Seasonic promo code deal...that's a good deal. btw Seasonic makes that Corsair psu I linked. Seasonic also makes psu's for PC & P, XFX, and god only knows who else.

@ the OP 1 good 3d monitor > 3 monitors

OK so I see for the value the 6950 tops the 560 and almost takes down the 570.

Good option with the Seasonic PSU

Why _Me is definitely a combo Ninja and after posting some amazing monitors I have to convince the wife to spend $400x3..those are sick

All you need is one of those BenQ monitors and a 3d kit. Not three.

I know but I really have mind set on doing a three monitor set-up. Mainly because of IRacing and being able to get a 160-170deg V while racing. Any suggestion on monitor little more affordable for nice three monitor set-up, no need to be 3-D.

DF-85 is a little big was going for cooling and really dig the red lights. Also has a USB 3.0 in the front for easy use. No supersaver shipping the DF-35 either, shipping to Hawaii is costly. I'm up for anything though with excellent cooling good cablmanagementnt, red lights are a plus.

My last build was with a Antec900 great case, only one down fall. I have 2 cats and without filters I get good amount of cat hair inside, should have mentioned that earlier. My male cat loves video games as much as I do, has to sit with me whenever I'm playing.
