Hello, I am looking for a new VGA card for reasonable price.. I have selected Nvidia 9500GT 1GB n Nvidia gt 240.. What would be the best? Also I saw ATI HD 5450 ddr3 for a low price. what is the best from 3 of this? so I am wondering what is the difference between ddr2 and ddr3 vga cards? If i want to use ddr3 vga should i change my motherboard? i am currently using intel D946gz..

As long as you have PCI-e slot on your computer you do not need to change it.

Any reason you have picked those three? What is budget? We might be able to find something for you.

The GT 240 is the best of the three, though.

GT 240 is 110US$
9500Gt is 87US$
HD 5450 is 70US$ in Our Country ( Sri Lanka )

I am looking for a card around 110US$.. What are the other cards i can use? But most of the the vga cards are not available in our country.. Thats why i picked these.. but i will be able to find if i know the names of cards..

Hmm I'm not finding anything on this website, are there any others you are familiar with that you can check out?

Have you heard of Slmega.com? It looks promising and they seem to have much better parts.
