hey guys i have been looking around the forums unregistered and all the topics people seem to get their problems solved.

well i decided to register and ask a few questions. i have an Asus A8N-SLI Motherboard (idk whether its a Deluxe or premium :??: with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+. AMD Radeon 4550HD 2 x 1GB Coarsair Memory. 1 x 512MB Sumsung, and 1 x 512MB PNY Electronics.( i know....3 different types of ram sticks, computer runs fast as *** when doing anything but HIGH quality video editing / Gaming.) well for one i would like to know the best socket 939 processor out there that i can possibly by? im running fairly new games (crysis 2, runs kinda laggy but its doable) and i really am trying to play battlefield 2 Bad company 2. but my computer just doesnt cut it for all of the effects and such.

so as i stated, which is the best socket 939 processor out right now?

and i would like to overclock my CURREMT processor. but i have NO clue what im doing. at all. links to good guides on how to overclock would be helpfull. thanks all.

The above is your mobo cpu support list, i think the best you can do is Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800 (939)
Heres one for sale
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AMD-Athlon-64X2-Dual-Core-4800-Toledo-Socket-939-Proce-/380349636427?pt=CPUs&hash=item588e9adf4b#ht_2573wt_905

But at $200 you would have to be crazy to buy it as a new AM3 set up such as this would be a huge step up in performance compared to that cpu upgrade.

ok but if i was to get these 3 components (which actually isnt too far off of what my list was, the mobo was a little cheaper by like 5 or 10 bucks) i will need a power supply...i dont suppose the one i have now cuts it at 460W?
