New Build PC for gaming/rendering

Hello,

Its not the first time i built my own system, but i need some updated suggestion for this new build.
Trying to get something able play mmo beside working. my budget is around 1400-1800 btw.

im not really into OC the cpu, due to lazy of monitoring the temperature at all, but i could consider it since everyone mentioning its jsut so easy.

CPU
i7 2600 or 2600k / which is best for me? 3D rendering + gaming

mobo
Asus P8P67-Pro

Case
Antec 300

PSU
Antec HX 650 / is it enoguh?

VGA
HD 6970 / should i get a dual sLi ?

HHD
WD Black sata3 1TB

Ram
4GBx2 DDR3 1600

CPU - I7-2600 (the non-K series). If it fits in your budget, hyperthreading may be of benefit while rendering. The I5-2500 or even I5-2400 are great gamers so consider them if your rendering can stand a few seconds of additional processing time.

MB - Good choice.

Case - Plan on adding a silent case fan or two to improve cooling / air flow.

PSU - 650w is good for a single video card system. If you are considering dual GPUs down the road, then opt up for an 850w. Antec True Power series are good power supplies...

Fill out the form in the sticky, link in my sig.

Stuff like country you're in, monitor resolution and what parts you don't need (OS for ex) are important.

Also, does your software utilize CUDA.
