Help $500 new system

Approximate Purchase Date: This weekend

Budget Range: $600 MAX

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Watching Movies(Blu-ray)-Downloading-Minor Gaming(Most demanding game ill play is red alert 3 and all the old one's)


Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor and speakers

Parts Preferences: Micro Atx I need it to be as small as possible and I like a shiny Case but Aint a problem if itss not..


Overclocking: No


SLI or Crossfire: No


Monitor Resolution: 50 inch 1080p TV

Additional Comments: I want to put it next to the tv so I dont want something ugly, a modern look and not a gaming machine look . thanx

The motherboard and cpu combo Sqrl listed is pretty good for your budget. I think you can find better ram in the $40 range though with rebates, something 1333mhz.

Also $95 for a H67 seems kinda out of your price range. Can you get away with H61? This one is only $65 with combo.

Oh and your going to need an operating system and that tuner card is not Win7 certified, read the reviews, lots of people had issues with this.
