I currently have a hybrid tuner (one digital and one analog tuner) card in my pc and would like to add another tuner card and am confused about connecting the audio for the second card. The current card has the audio line out connected to the line in on my onboard audio. When I add the second tuner card where will the audio be connected to my onboard audio when I only have one line in input on my onboard audio?

The only audio out I'm aware of that some TV tuners offer are for connecting secondary audio. You don't need to have any separate audio connected for your PC to out put audio coming from the TV tuner source.

You will get sound without any audio cables connected. I have 3 tuner cards in my HTPC. Each gets a single coax input, and all audio is handled internally and is played back through the preferred audio device setup on the computer.

Ok. thanks for the insight. I guess I've never tried running the card without the secondary audio cable connected. I will try that as soon as I get home.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this. Audio worked without the separate audio cord. Thanks again!!!
