Computer wont recognize parts Help please !!!!!!1

i built my computer and it starts up and runs fine but when i look in my bios the only thing being recognized is apparently the cd drive but i dont understand because it boots up without a problem
Intel core i7 2600k
Gigabyte GA- Z68MA-D2H-B3
Powercolor 6790
Ocz 750w
Spire thermax eclipse ii
Western digital 500gb

Also when i tried to install the windows 7 i couldnt because it said i needed some driver or somthing and a place to download the OS please help im really confused and this is my first build

Sounds like your hard drive is on the secondary SATA adapter (like a Marvell or JMicron controller). Which plugs on your mobo are the hard drive and CD drive on? Three should be a preinstall driver on your driver CD for the chipset driver to install your OS.

Attatch the HDD to SATA 0(colored white on the left).
