Approximate Purchase Date: (This month/end of this month)

Budget Range: ($800~) .. I have no idea what rebates are XD .. if someone can explain please?

System Usage from Most to Least Important: (Gaming, Little editing, a lot of multitasking)

Parts Not Required: (keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, hdd)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: (e.g.: newegg.com, ncix.com)

Country of Origin: (EGYPT!)

Parts Preferences: by brand or type (I would like to use an AMD CPU/Motherboard with an ATI graphics card)

Overclocking: Yes, not hardcore overclocking .. just enough for gaming

SLI or Crossfire: No, not now nor in the future!

Monitor Resolution: (1920x1080)

Additional Comments: (Basically, I want a DECENT gaming PC that can handle new FPS games, some editing, not overclocking that much and not willing to go dual graphics card.. I don't want to show off anything nor care about hardcore FPS and speed)

So basically I came up with these things;

Motherboards:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Processor:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Ram:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Graphics card:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

SSD:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

PSU:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Case:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

CPU cooler:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Thermal Greases:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I know it might be a bit less than $800 but where abouts I live, things might be more expensive so this is the average .. how good is a PC like this? Is there something someone wouldn't recommend?

More about : 800 gaming

Do NOT get that motherboard with that CPU. The motherbaord onlys upports 95w CPU's and the AMD 955 is a 125w CPU :p  Understand? :)  The rest looks really good :)  Just do some more research on motherboards. I'll try to find a good one for you :p

edit: Check out this one, it supports DDR3, and your cpu. It's a little expensive though. If it's too much, keep looking around :)  You'd be amazed at what you'll find by typing "Best AM3 motherboards" into google :p

Oh wow, thanks for that .. never knew. I can't find any new posts, I tried googling but everything was 2 years ago or something and I'm pretty sure there are way better and newer motherboards since then!

I'm a bit concerned about storage. That SSD isn't gonna get you very far unless you compliment it with a conventional hard drive.

You're right, he should just install windows on the SSD for speed, and perhaps a few games for quick loading, and then buy a separate hardrive for storage. He won't get very far with 60, but for starting a new rig he probably shouldn't/doesn't have to worry about storage just yet. He ONLY has to worry about getting his system to POST! :p  haha

My latest build was my first build and I had a similar budget. I didn't even bother with an SSD cause they're so expensive right now. As long as he doesn't load up on games like I did when I got my system together he should be fine for a while till he can get a 1TB drive for storage. HDD drives are dirt cheap these days.

Oh wait I already have a 500GB hard drive that I got like 2-3 months ago since my old one broke .. That's why I don't need another HDD for now, maybe in the future I'll probably upgrade to a Samsung 1TB or something but for now I'm gonna keep this one!
Don't worry about storage, I only want to install windows, counter strike source, firefox and a few other programs on the SSD and that's about it .. My music/movies/shows and stuff are going to be on my HDD since I don't do anything else apart from that, some editing but yeah you get my point.

Now regarding the motherboard, do you guys recommend it?

Yes, i recommend it, it has only a few bad reviews on new egg (which is very good for any motherboard) and has 63% 5 eggs, and then 21% 4 eggs. Seems like a good, stable board. Also, i've found it's specifications, it SUPPORTS the 955 BE!!!
For the price i can't see this board being an issue :p  Just read some reviews and do further research to make sure everything is ok :p
PS: (it also supports DDR3)
