Using NTbackup in Win 7

Last response: in Windows 7

I backed up my installation of XP using the installed Microsoft NTBackup.exe program which created my .bkf file.
I have now installed Win 7 Professional and wish to restore the .bkf file.
I have put the NTBackup.exe and the 2 associated 2 .dll files required (Win 7 does not have NTBackup.exe).
When I try to restore the backup I receive a "Media Security Violation. This media has been secured. You do not have the proper priviliges" message.
I have checked the owner of the .bkf file (I am the Admin on this laptop!) and all seems correct.
Is there any way of seeing what priviliges are required to restore this backup?

I have now discovered how to fix this issue. You need to run the NTBackup.exe as an Administrator.
Simply right click the NTBackup.exe file and select Run as Administrator and the restore works.

Amazing how after days of searching, as soon as you post, you find the answer.
