Hey all,
Theres probibly alot of those questions on the forum yet but i'd like to ask a little more..
Im pretty sure i'll go for the 6850. i'm gonna get a 6-core so the physx shouldn't be a problem should it?
else i should reconsidder the gtx 460

my main question was
Saphire or MSI Cyclone?
is the cyclone really worth the extra bucks or should i get a regular Saphire and overclock it?

PhysX is done on an Nvidia GPU and Physics is done on a CPU. Yes teh Cyclone is worth the extra, i would get a Hawk card if possible its pretty much teh best 460 there is as far as overclocking goes. It depends if you want the fastest pre overclocked card or one that will OC well.
The Cyclone card is a good comprimise of the two.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Physics and PhysX dont differ in game do they? I mean.. graphically theyre the same?
Cuz than i'll be going for the 6850

PhysX is something used by a few games that can only be rendered on Nvidia cards. If you play Batman, Metro 2033, Mafia 2, Unreal Tournament 3, Dark Void, and a few others, then you will need the GTX460 to see the effects. Otherwise, your CPU will be doing physics calculations for other games regardless of which card you choose.

So still;

thanks!
my main concern was that the MSI packaging doesn't look so good(no crossfire bridge etc) so i was doubting about the quality..
Sapphire's packaging looks much better to me and the Toxic seemed like a nice replacement.
But since everyone is saying cyclone, i suppose they saved some money on the packaging and putted it in the performance?

i've seen many unboxing videos where the crossfire bridge actually comes with the videocard.
However, i havn't seen one where it comes with the motherboard
i might be mistaken here?

I have seen both but as far as I know they come standard with a crossfire capable GPU as long as you buy one with a decent bundle. Well put it this way I have bought plenty of both GPU's and Motherboards and the GPU's have always had either the Crossfire of SLI connector with the card. Motherboards I have seen with them in bundles advertised but I have not yet bought one.

ah okay
have been wathcing some unboxings
but the cyclone doesn't seem to have any
thats why i was wondering about the packaging and bundeling

the ASRock extreme 3 surely doesn't have it since its only 75 bucks.
