Password

I just moved to my sister and brother-in-laws house. They have their desktop and laptop connected to a wireless router. Their friend had changed the password and they don't know what it is currently. My brother(not in-law) tried to fix it, but it didn't work. Not sure what he did. I'd like to set up the wireless on my laptop, but can't do it due to no knowledge of the password. I want to ge hooked up, but I don't want to ruin what they already have set up. What can I do to fix this?

If you don't have the password to login to the router, you will have to reset the router to manufacturer default.
