MB: MSI P67A-GD53 B3 $159 (Tiger Direct doesn’t have a ton of choices)
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=93425&CatId=6978

Ram: GSkill Ripjaws 8g (on the MB approved ram list) $85 (from Newegg B/C Tiger has nothing)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231311

VC: NVIDIA GTX460 768 (to SLI with my current card $120
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6488427&CatId=3670

I will probably grab a DVD drive too as mine is a IDE drive from 2004.

My questions are:

What are your thoughts on this system? Is there anything better for the money?

What about the RAM? The timings don't seem great. How big of deal is that?

Is my Corsair 650w PSU enough for the duel 460’s?

Is this enough of an improvement over my current system?

AMD X3 435 (2.9g)
Gigabyte 770 Chipset MB
4g Cucial Memory
Single GTX 460

This system above has been a pain since I built it over a year ago. I have had all kinds of problems with the system, so much so that it is driving me to upgrade. I mostly play COD black ops.

No.

A LOT better option is the i5-2500K system and 2xGTX460's in SLI. Remember that the i5-2500K OC's very easily, 4.2GHz with stock cooling in good ventilated case in no problem, and that 2xGTX460 768MB in SLI = single GTX570, alot faster than an HD 5850.

edit- and yes the Corsair TX650 would be enough for dual GTX460's and for OC'ed i5-2500K.
